S Logue
Executive Headteacher
A very warm welcome to the community of St Annes’. It is a privilege to be Executive Headteacher of St Anne’s and to lead the school. I joined the community in June 2021, and I am amazed at the talent within the staff of the school. The pupils are an asset to this community and my Leadership team, and I will be relentless in ensuring that the pupils get what they deserve and that the staff are valued, looked after, and embrace our Mission.
I am currently also Headteacher at St Damian’s, an outstanding Catholic school in Salford Diocese. I also inspect schools on behalf of both the Diocese and Ofsted. My role is to provide the direction to the school, build leadership and ensure that St Anne’s becomes the outstanding Catholic school that all stakeholders can be proud of.

M Critchlow
Head of School
I joined St Anne's in September 2020 as Senior Deputy Headteacher and became Head of School at Easter 2022. In this time, I have led on both academic and pastoral aspects of St Anne’s with the clear remit of raising standards. The Head of School is central to the improvement journey at St Anne's, ensuring stability within the Senior Leadership Team so that we become Outstanding in ALL we do. I believe that St Anne’s has the potential to transform young people’s lives and provide a wide range of experiences to enrich our students' understanding of the world. It is because of this that I am proud to work with our wonderful pupils each day. My philosophy as a school leader is that 'Knowledge is Power'. Education opens doors of opportunity and has the power to improve life chances, but opportunity requires hard work in order to achieve success.

Quality of Education
I joined St Annes’ in September 2021 as Deputy Headteacher. I have previously worked as a Deputy Headteacher in Salford and as an Assistant Headteacher in Stockport. I started my teaching career in Stockport 20 years ago and was awarded Advanced Skills Teacher Status two years later. I have also worked as Head of Maths and Lead Maths Practitioner for Stockport, supporting various schools. I am highly motivated and believe in bringing out the best in staff and all students by sharing my vision and modelling excellent practice. I believe that the individual student must be at the centre of everything we do at St Anne’s. I am really excited to be part of the St Anne’s community and I enjoy working with our students. I am committed to driving up standards at St Anne’s so that every student has the opportunity to succeed. I am a keen hiker and thoroughly enjoy just stretching my legs, taking a breather, and enjoying the expanse of the great outdoors to more challenging treks, like the Three Peaks that I have recently completed in under 12 hours.
