Class of 2022 GCSE Result Success

“I am delighted to report that the GCSE outcomes for St Anne's students in the summer of 2022 showed improvements in most of the key measures compared to the previous (pre Covid) exam series in 2019. Yet again, English lead the subject achievements with results placing them in the top 20% nationally. Students achieved the highest possible grade (9) in most subject areas with the most achieved in English and RE. There were a high number of individual student successes as well, especially in Maths where students made the greatest improvement from grades achieved in mock exams to the final GCSE results. As a school, both governors and staff are extremely proud of these improved achievements. This is a direct result of the improved quality of teaching and dedication from both students and staff.  However, as a proud Catholic school we also believe that these positive results are due to exceptional pastoral care and the formation of genuine positive relationships.  It is the intention of everyone at St Anne’s that next year we will improve further on these achievements. Watch this space in August 2023!”
